Hanuman Garhi in nainital

This place is of religious importance. Situated at a height of 1951 meters this place was established by Baba Neem Kiroli. It has a temple complex presiding deity being Lord Hanuman besides Ram and Shiva. On the other side of the hill there is Shitala Devi temple and Ashram of Lila Sah Bapu. From Hanuman Garhi watching the Sunset is very soothing. One can walk down from Nainital to Hanuman Garhi.

About Garzia Temple

Enroute to Dhikala at about 10 Kms. from Ramnagar there is a huge rock perching out of the Kosi river bed. On the pinnacle there is a beautiful temple of Durga Devi named as Garjia Devi. One has to climb a huge number of narrow stairs to reach the temple. An enchanting view of river Kosi can be seen from the top of the rock. It is a good place for bathing, basking, worship & lunch enroute to Corbett park.
